Swatch Watches
Much like icons of the 80s, Swatch watches had more to do with looks and pop culture than functionality. Swatches were known for being art-inspired. The reliability of this Swiss timepiece was compared to Casio, Fossil and Timex. The difference being that unlike those other little sundials early 80s Swatches sold for $300 – $600. Some limited edition Swatch watches designed by artist Keith Haring auctioned for $10,000 U.S. – try getting that for a Seiko.
